Nostaligia Day, 21 September 2003. A visit to the National Tramway Museum at Crich, Matlock, Derbyshire, DE4 5DP

Tramcar No. 399. Leeds 1926

Police Box was donated by Metropolitan Police. It stood originally near the North Circular Road in London. The "TARDIS" is a natural draw for today's Time Lords

This rare Victorian pillar box is one of the original "Pentfold" design, installed between 1866 and 1879. It came to the museum from Newton Heath, Manchester - and it's still in use today. The Royal Mail collects from here every day except Sundays.
