The Billited [sic] Soldier's Departure

This attractive little halftone colour print was published in the UK in 1909, under the auspices of The Connoisseur Publishing Company, publishers of The Connoisseur, a respected art and colletors' magazine of the time. The plate is printed on white, satin finished stock which is blank with a cream, matt finish on the reverse. The picture is bordered with a plain white margin, not shown above, and is titled beneath.
